As a Santorini photographer, I have witnessed and photographed the heart-stopping beauty of the island more than a few times. Still, every time I set my eyes on the caldera view, it has the same effect on me as the same first time I stepped on Santorini.. This land, created by one of the largest volcanic eruptions recorded in history, surrounded by the Aegean sea and lighted the Greek sun, is just hair-raising, spine-tingling beautiful. This is the little dot on the world map that Gavin & Eve circled when they decided to make their love official. The preparations took place at the whitewashed villas of On The Rocks Hotel, followed by a first look session on the terrace of the hotel, facing the volcano and the blue waters around it. Stella & Moscha, one of the leading wedding planners & designers in Santorini, set up a gorgeous floral arch for the couple to exchange vows and prepared a gracefully romantic dinner table for two, while Gavin & Eve was accompanied by this Santorini photographer to the most iconic and private spots of the island for some additional portraits, right before the sunset. The day ended with fine dinning and champagne under the candle light, and this Santorini photographer, loves nothing more than happy endings!
