With the Cretan Sea sweeping away to its South, Folegandros has a quiet charm, amplified by the clifftop village Hora, the terraced fields sloping down to azure waters and countryside dotted with vestiges of the past, chapels and craggy coves that have privacy spelled all across the powder soft sands. Canadian sweethearts Austin & Alexis dreamt of escaping into a private world of their own and the southern Cycladed edged island was just what they sought after. White Ribbon Boutique Events created a sublime fete at Papalagi while finding the most imposing backdrop for the couple’s stunning portraits was probably the easiest to do. The beautiful duo and their friends enjoyed the luxuries of their private villa, their guests took the chance to view the island’s raw beauty arriving to the ceremony by boat, the local musicians played and sang and seeing the couple radiate with happiness and beauty had me convinced that on this small piece of heaven everything’s all right with the world!
